There's No Such Thing As a Stupid Question

There really isn’t! Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that I get. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for here – please do reach out and ask. I’m only happy to answer

Are there any hidden costs or additional fees I should know about?

You will need to pay for your domain (website address) and your hosting (storage). These are yearly fees. I’m happy to set both of these up for you. Depending on your package, email marketing, booking systems & SEO systems may require premium subscriptions to maintain the advanced features. I’ll set everything up and cover the costs during the project, then we’ll transfer the accounts to you at launch.

All additional costs will be listed in the proposal.

Yes, I’m open to discussing payment plans that work for your budget. While 50% upfront is standard, I understand everyone’s financial situation is different. We can have a conversation about what would work best for you during the consultation call.

I want this investment to feel manageable, not stressful.

Once we’ve signed off on the final feedback form and launched your website, any additional changes may incur a charge. This is why the feedback stage is so important. It’s your chance to make sure everything is exactly right before we go live.

Take your time reviewing everything thoroughly so we can catch any adjustments during the project.

You don’t need to be tech-savvy at all. That’s exactly why you’re hiring me! Here’s what you’ll handle versus what I take care of:

Your Part (the creative stuff):

  • Provide your logo, photos, and business information.
  • Complete the copy workbook to write your website content (with my guidance and templates).
  • Review the website during our feedback sessions and let me know what you’d like adjusted.

My Part (the technical stuff):

  • Build and design your entire website.
  • Set up all the technical systems (SEO, email marketing, booking systems).
  • Handle hosting, security, and all the behind-the-scenes work.
  • Train you on the simple day-to-day tasks after launch.

The copy workbook might feel like the biggest task, but it’s designed specifically for people who aren’t writers. You’ll get templates, examples, and step-by-step guidance. Think of it like filling out a detailed questionnaire about your business rather than writing from scratch.

Bottom line: If you can send emails and fill out forms, you can handle your part of this process. I take care of everything technical so you never have to worry about the complicated stuff.

I completely understand. Life can be unpredictable!
If content is significantly delayed, it will push back your launch date. I’ll always communicate openly about how delays affect your timeline so there are no surprises.

What I’ve found helps my clients:

  • Break the copy workbook into smaller chunks – don’t try to do it all at once.
  • Use the reminder emails I send to stay on track.
  • Reach out if you’re stuck. I’m here to help, not judge.

The key thing is communication. If you’re running late, just let me know. We’ll figure out a solution together rather than leaving you stressed about it.

I understand the appeal of having someone else handle the writing, but your authentic voice is your biggest asset. The copy workbook helps you capture your unique personality and approach which is what truly connects with your ideal clients. When someone else writes your copy, it sounds like them, not like you.

That said, I recognise not everyone loves writing. If you’re really stuck, I can recommend copywriters who specialise in your industry. This would be a separate investment alongside your website package, but we can discuss whether it’s the right fit for you.

Your website won’t magically generate traffic on day one. Building visibility takes time and consistent effort.

Here’s what I include to help:

  • SEO optimisation so Google can find and understand your site.
  • Google My Business integration for local searches.
  • Mobile optimisation for better search rankings.

What happens after launch:

It takes 3-6 months for Google to fully index and rank new websites.
You’ll need to actively share your website link on social media, in email signatures, and with existing clients. The blog setup in the deluxe package gives you a platform to create content that attracts search traffic.

Your role in visibility:

  • Consistently sharing your website.
  • Creating valuable content (blogs, social posts) that links back to your site.
  • Asking satisfied clients for Google reviews.
  • Networking and getting other websites to link to yours.

Think of your website as your digital business card. It needs to exist for people to find it, but you still need to put it in front of people.

Immediate post-launch support:

  • Starter: 1 week of email support.
  • Premium: 2 weeks of email support.
  • Deluxe: 3 weeks of email support.

This covers: Technical issues, questions about managing your site, help with updates, troubleshooting any problems.

Ongoing maintenance:

  • Premium: 6-month maintenance package included.
  • Deluxe: 12-month maintenance package included.

This covers: Security updates, backups, and technical maintenance.

After your included support period:

  • You can purchase additional maintenance plans.
  • I’m available for one-off technical help at my hourly rate.
  • The training materials, I provide you with will help you handle basic updates independently.

What I don’t provide: 24/7 emergency support or unlimited ongoing changes. The goal is to set you up with a website you can confidently manage day-to-day.
